VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

ACADEMY PREP MAY BE THE PLACE FOR YOU

We are looking for people who want to give back to the community & gain valuable experience. We are an uncommon private middle school offering the academic rigor, small classes and strong structure of a private school along with social guidance and support. All of our students attend on full scholarships provided by individuals, businesses, and foundations in the local community.

Tutors
Help a child excel and learn! Tutors are needed to work with students during study hall: 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Our students have lots of homework! As a tutor, you will provide one-on-one guidance and academic support.

Activity Leaders
Offer fun activities to a small group of interested students. Do you have a hobby, skill or interest to share with young people? Share it with our students on weekday afternoons. You can offer sports, music, drama, or other fun and enriching activities 2 afternoons a week. This requires planning and a nine-week commitment.

Mentors
Give a child the most precious gift of all: your time. Only one hour a week is needed to make a difference in the life of a child.

Special Events
The PODS Golf Tournament, annual fundraisers, school picnics, student performances, and career days are a few of the special events you can help us manage.
